Concord Man Asking Judge to Drop Prostitution and Hindering Charges

A Concord lawyer charged with prostitution and hindering apprehension by Salem Police in April 2011 is asking a judge to throw the charges out, according to a report by the Union Leader.

Richard Mooney, 53, of Bow, is claiming that Salem police didn't have enough legal justification to stop his car.

Mooney's arrest was the result of  the ongoing investigation and surveillance of the Red Roof Inn and La Quinta Inn for suspected prostitution and other crimes.
