Gary Lambert, a former Republican state senator from Nashua, made several stops in Salem Friday as part of his campaign for New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District seat.
Lambert visited with employees at Tuscan Market and Rockingham Park before taking a tour of the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce building, according to posts on the official Gary Lambert for Congress Facebook page.
The former Marine is running for the seat now held by Democrat Annie Kuster. Salem State Rep. Marilinda Garcia has also announced her candidacy for that position.
