The Deaths Of Two People In Salem House Appear To Be A Murder Suicide
Jennifer Barrett died of a gunshot wound, her death was a homicide. Charles Molinari died of a gunshot wound, his death was ruled suicide

SALEM, NH - The autopsies have been completed on the two people found deceased inside a Salem residence on Bodwell Avenue in Salem.
At approximately 1:45 P.M., the Salem Police Department responded to a single-family residence on Bodwell Avenue in Salem in response to a 911 call.
Inside the home, officers found the deceased bodies of Jennifer L. Barrett, 47, and Charles W. Molinari, 41. Both parties resided at the residence that police responded to.

Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jennie Duval conducted the autopsies. Dr. Duval determined that the cause of Ms. Barrett’s death was a gunshot wound to the head and that the manner of her death was homicide.
Dr. Duval determined that the cause of Mr. Molinari’s death was a single self-inflicted gunshot wound and that the manner of his death was suicide.

Although the investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remains active and ongoing, based on evidence gathered to date, authorities are investigating this as a possible murder-suicide in which Mr. Molinari fatally shot Ms. Barrett before taking his own life.
