Dental Hygienist, St. Joseph Church Member Dies at 38

Brenda (Chouinard) Gagnon, 38, of Salem, NH died Friday, April 19th at Parkland Medical Center, surrounded by her family.

Brenda was born and educated in Lincoln, ME. She graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in dental hygiene. She worked many years as a dental hygienist and also operated a small second hang shop. Brenda was a member of St. Joseph Church. She had a caring, generous spirit and a smile that would light up a room. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Gagnon, her two beautiful children Brooke Rose and Jake Adam Gagnon, her parents Evangeline (Bosse) and Jean-Yves Chouinard of Lincoln, ME, her maternal grandmother, Yvonne Fournier of St. Eusebe, Quebec, her sisters, Julie Jones of Knoxville, TN and Natalie Chouinard of Atkinson, NH and many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Cremation will follow.
