Derry Incident Now A Homicide Investigation: New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office
Follow-up: Gui Lin of Manchester, who was assaulted in a parking lot of a business on Peabody Annex Road, has died of multiple stab wounds.

DERRY, NH — An incident in the parking lot of a Derry business complex on Monday is now officially a homicide investigation, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.
Police and fire and rescue teams were sent to the parking lot of a Peabody Annex Road business complex for a report of a stabbing just before 11:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found Gui Lin, 41, of Manchester, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester, where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses reported a U-Haul truck with Arizona license plates had fled the scene. The truck was reportedly seen in Nashua, at the intersection of Lake and Pine streets, but after investigating the truck, it was found not to be involved in the Derry incident.

On Wednesday, state officials deemed the incident a homicide investigation after an autopsy determined Lin died due to a stab wound to the chest, which perforated his heart, and the manner of death was determined to be a homicide.
