Derry, Seabrook Men Indicted On Strangulation Charges: Rockingham County Superior Court Roundup
Plus: North Hampton man accused of driving over cop's leg; thief indicted on Salem theft charges; woman indicted on meth, fentanyl charges.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A grand jury in Rockingham County recently indicted the people listed below.
Rachel Marie Abrahams, 33, of Emerys Bridge Road in South Berwick, Maine, on a felony possession of clonazepam charge on Dec. 4, 2024, in Portsmouth.
Michael A. Arenella, 48, of Cardinal Circle in Derry, on a felony domestic violence-second-degree assault-strangulation charge and a domestic violence-simple assault charge. He was accused of strangling and pushing a family or household member on Feb. 23 in Derry.

Jarod S. Dennis, 43, of Fays Avenue in Lynn, Massachusetts, on felony second-degree assault as well as two simple assault charges. He was accused of punching another person in the face and causing a blowout fracture of the orbital floor and making “a gun gesture” with his hand on Nov. 3, 2024, in Hampton.
Chance N. Deschene, 28, of Warner Hill Road in Derry, on four felony nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images. He was accused of harassing a woman and sending images of her to others via Facebook and Snapchat on Oct. 3, 2024, in Derry.

Matthew Cody Dickens, 30, of Lafayette Road in Seabrook, on a felony second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence charge and two domestic violence-simple assault charges. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner, scratching her in the face, and pushing her on Dec. 28, 2024, in Seabrook.

Scott William Doan, 71, of Mill Road in North Hampton, on reckless conduct-deadly weapon and reckless conduct charges, both felonies. He was accused of driving a motor vehicle into a police captain’s leg and struck another person while operating a vehicle on Nov. 3, 2024, in Derry.
Ryan David Duval, 37, of Brook Drive in Hudson, on two felony theft by unauthorized taking charges. He was accused of stealing merchandise from Target in Salem on July 7, and July 21, 2024. Twice before, he has been convicted on theft charges, according to the indictment.
Jose Antonio Fernandes, 41, of Sumner Street in Quincy, Massachusetts, on a felony violation of a protective order charge. He was accused of sending messages to a protected party via Facebook in Derry on Feb. 25, in violation of a Plymouth MA District Court order from Aug. 15, 2024. Previously, Fernandes was convicted within the past six years.
Zachary M. Fickett, 30, of Aladdin Circle in Derry, on five felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse images and five felony counts of distribution of child sexual abuse images. He was accused of possessing and sharing .avi, .mp4, and .wmv files on Dec. 17, 2024, in Derry.
Chelsea Elizabeth Foley, 33, of Saint Charles Street in Derry, on possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, delivery of articles to prisoners-fentanyl, and two possession of fentanyl, all felonies. She was accused of possessing fentanyl in Seabrook on Dec. 15, 2024, and at the Rockingham County Jail in Brentwood on Dec. 16, 2024.
