Missing Elderly NH Man With ALS Found Safe
New Hampshire State Police issued an alert for Ricky Bickerstaff after he went missing this week.
NEWTON, NH — A missing elderly New Hampshire man with ALS was found Tuesday, according to police. Ricky Bickerstaff, 69, went missing from the Rockingham County town of Newton. He was driving a black Dodge Caravan and was on his way to a medical appointment in Manchester Monday at about 5:30 a.m. when he went missing.
Police issued a "silver alert" asking the public for tips Tuesday morning. He was later located Tuesday afternoon in Manchester, police said.
Police said they were concerned for his well-being because he also suffers from dementia.
