The advisory will remain until bacteria counts are below the state standard. A yellow NHDES sign is typically placed at the beach to indicate that the advisory has been issued and that the water is not suitable for wading or swimming.

The sign does not indicate that the beach is closed to the public, but those in the area are advised to enter the water at their own risk.

Millville Pond Beach, Second Street Beach, Shadow Lake Beach and Otter Pond Beach were all sampled.
