First Gentleman Hassan Stops in Salem on Volunteerism Campaign

The tour is visiting all 10 New Hampshire counties.

Residents of Salemhaven Long Term Care and Rehabilitation Center were paid a special visit Saturday as Gov. Maggie Massan's husband stopped by the facility.

Tom Hassan was in Salem as part of a volunteerism tour that he is currently making across all 10 counties. While he was at Salemhaven, Hassan enjoyed bingo and ice cream with the residents and helped recognize local volunteers.

The campaign, titled "Help Out New Hampshire," is being touted as a statewide initiative to promote volunteerism.

He also stopped at the Community Alliance for Teen Safety in Derry on Saturday.
