Five Things: More Parking at Canobie?

Also, changes are coming to Facebook.

1. TODAY'S FORECAST: Expect partly cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain today. Today will see a high of 44 while tonight will see a low of 30. Some snow showers are also expected early.

2. SELECTMEN TONIGHT: The Board of Selectmen will meet tonight at 7 at the Community Development Department. See the full agenda here.

3. CHANGES TO FACEBOOK: If you hadn't heard, Facebook is rolling out a new timeline and it appears to be here. If you haven't seen your timeline change in the last couple days, expect the change soon. The biggest changes are the disappearance of tiles below the cover photo for a sleeker menu bar and moving your timeline (which is back to a single-column format) to the right with your "about" information, friends and interests running down the left of the page. Read more about the changes here. What do you think? Has your page changed yet? Do you like the new look? Tell us in the comments below.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1774, British Parliament passes the Boston Port Act, closing the port of Boston and demanding that the city's residents pay for the nearly $1 million worth (in today's money) of tea dumped into Boston Harbor during the Boston Tea Party of December 16, 1773.

5. PLANNERS TAKE UP CANOBIE PARKING EXPANSION: A full agenda on Tuesday will include a possible addition of 350 parking spaces to Canobie Lake Park. See what else is on tap here.
