Five Ways to Beat the Heat Today in Salem
Here are some places to go and activities to do on a hot day in Salem.

Summer weather has arrived, with temperatures flirting with 90 degrees in Salem today. And the high humidity will make it feel even hotter.
To reduce the risk of heat illness, the National Weather Service recommends drinking plenty of fluids, staying in an air-conditioned room and out of the sun. Any outdoor activities should be rescheduled to earlier or later in the day. And be sure to wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing.
Here are some more ways to beat the heat.
