Flood Watch in Effect

National Weather Service has hazardous weather outlook in effect until June 12 at 8 a.m.

A Flood Watch is in effect for the Seacoast and much of New Hampshire until June 12 at 8 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Recommendations from the National Weather Service for those who live in flood-prone areas:

"Take time now to protect any items that could be damaged by flood waters. Have a safe place to go in case flooding occurs.

Recent heavy rainfall has already saturated the ground, causing any additional rainfall to run off into rivers and streams.

Those rivers and streams will quickly rise through tonight with the potential for flooding.

Localized rainfall totals of up to 3 inches are possible.
