Former Salem Wedding Photographer Seeking Lower Restitution

The Union Leader reported on Feb. 13 that a former Salem wedding photographer is saying she owes thousands of dollars less to customers who she was ordered to pay for waiting years to receive their wedding pictures.

Darlene Perotta, who formerly owned Salem's Forever in Time photography studio, was ordered by the court in October to pay out $436,788 in restitution to customers. According to the paper's report, she argued on Wednesday that she owed $137,375 after she hired a certified public accountant to tabulate the total cost.
