Fugitive Arrested After Brief Struggle With Police
Nathan Alphonse, 23, of Methuen, Mass. was arrested on Friday.

A Massachusetts fugitive was arrested Friday on drug-related charges, according to Salem Police.
Salem officers were assisting the Mass State Police Fugitive Task Force in located Nathan Alphonse, 23, of Methuen, Mass. Alphonse was wanted on felony charges in Mass.
Alphonse was chaged by police as a fugitive from justice along with felony and misdemeanor charges of possession of controlled drugs.

Alphonse was located at 9:30 a.m. in a bedroom on 20 Messer Ave. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle.
Police found marijuana and a small quantity of Oxycodone pills on Alphonse when he was arrested.

He was arraigned and held on $125,000 cash bail as a fugitive from justice.
