The closure comes on the heels of the Salem Planning Board approving a 22,000-squar-foot shopping plaza project at the location. A CVS Pharmacy, restaurant and two other businesses are part of the plan, which is being developed by Thur Ken. According to the paper, The Green Barn could open back up this fall, and is mulling two different locations in town.
