The Salem location relocated in June 2004 to a newly constructed facility on Manor Parkway. The first location for Hesser College was in Manchester at 913 Elm Street.

After a posting about the name change on Facebook, several former students wrote in with concerns about what the new name will mean for their degree. A Hesser College representative issued a quick response to the concerns:

Your degree means just as much as it always has. Mount Washington College is regionally accredited by NEASC, the same accrediting body as Hesser College. Accreditation laws mean that the name of the school on your transcripts will change, but it’s the same degree it was when you earned it.

Mount Washington College has also launched a Facebook page, which can be found here.
