Man Charged with Assault, Unarmed Robbery
Three people were also arrested on shoplifting related charges.

Thursday, Dec. 12
- 9:04 a.m.: An accident was reported on North Broadway.
- 9:20 a.m.: Stephanie Cela-Valeriano, 21, of 13 Carleton St., Methuen, MA was arrested on a bench warrant. The charge was not specified.
- 9:57 a.m.: Patrick A. Broomes, 23, of 4 Joy Terrace, Methuen, MA was arrested on a warrant and charged with transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana and sale of a controlled drug.
- 11:41 a.m.: A 2-vehicle accident was reported on Main Street.
- 12:44 p.m.: A theft of copper pipes was reported on School Street.
- 12:47 p.m.: An accident was reported on North Broadway.
- 1:05 p.m.: Wayne A. Swanson, 52, of 36 Maple Ave., Atkinson was charged with driving under the influence, second offense following an accident on North Main Street. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail.
- 2:26 p.m.: David Grandmaison, 38, of 15 Harris St., Methuen, MA was arrested on a warrant and charged with simple assault, unarmed robbery and obstructing report of crime/injury. Bail was set at $5,000.
- 4:17 p.m.: Rebecca Arline Dame, 26, of 45 Frost Road, Apt. B, Derry was charged with willful concealment after an alleged shoplifting incident at Kohl's on Cluff Crossing Road.
- 9:13 p.m.: A 2-vehicle accident was reported on South Broadway.
- 10:18 p.m.: Maria G. Pereyra, 45 and Nicole Diaz, 21, both of 25 Hale St., Lawrence, MA were each charged with willful concealment following an alleged shoplifting incident at Lord & Taylor on Rockingham Park Boulevard. Diaz was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and Pereyra on $1,000 cash bail.
