Man Reportedly Srikes Woman, Takes Off into the Woods

Editor's note: The following entries are excerpts from logs submitted by Salem Police.

MAY 23, 2013

5:00 p.m. Caller reporting her 13-year-old son was hit by the mirror and knocked to the ground by a passing truck at Greystone Farms on 242 Main St. The female driver did stop to see if he was OK. No one thought to get a plate or any info on the driver. The child did get some scrapes from falling.

MAY 24, 2013

12:08 a.m. Dana Abrahams, 24, of 13 Hill St. in Amesbury, Mass. is arrested at the Park View Inn on 109 S. Broadway St. Apt. 15 and charged with possession of a controlled drug and arrest on a warrant. Abrahams released on $1,000 cash bail.

12:44 p.m. Donna L. Young, 65, of 312 Broadway St. 2nd Floor in Methuen, Mass. is arrested at Sears on 99 Rockingham Park Boulevard and charged with attempted theft. Young bailed at $2,5000 personal recognizance.

2:57 p.m. Robert Lee Page Jr., 24, of 5 Highland Ave. in Atkinson, N.H. is arrested at Home Depot on 289 S. Broadway St. and charged with two counts of theft.

7:27 p.m. Jonathan Roland Barrett, 23, of 32 Gosling Road in Portsmouth, N.H. is arrested on an out of town warrant at the Salem Police Department.

9:16 p.m. Caller on Friendship Drive reporting that a male struck a female and then took off. Male suspect took off on foot into the wooded area. 911 called to ping the suspect's cell phone.

911 was unable to ping the phone, it is a Metro PCS which is not GPS compatible.

Officers checked the area, negative find. Officers will be checking the area during the night.
