Man Threatens to Kill Himself With Shotgun

Editor’s note: One person’s name was removed from this report because his or her charges were annulled.

Editor's note: The following entries are excerpts from logs submitted by Salem Police.

FEBRUARY 25, 2013

2:22 p.m. Nina L. Perednia, 48, of 16 Pleasant St. Apt. 7 in Methuen, Mass. is arrested on a warrant at the Salem Police Department on 9 Veterans Memorial Parkway and charged with theft of lost or mislaid property. Perednia released on a summons.

4:26 p.m. Ryon Couture, 39, of 6 Nottingham Road Apt. 2 in Raymond, N.H. is arrested at Rockingham Mall and charged with conspiracy and possession of controlled/narcotic drugs.

William Driscoll, 46, of 91 Strafford Road in Northwood, N.H. is arrested at Rockingham Mall and charged with conspiracy and possession of drugs (motor vehicle).

Both subjects refused services of bail commissioner and transported to Rockingham County House of Corrections.

5:42 p.m. Edgar Roger Topping, 44, of 39 Brookfield St. in Lawrence, Mass. is arrested at Salem Ford on 470 S. Broadway St. and charged with a bench warrant.

9:56 p.m. Jared P. Lamb, 26, of 24 Hunters Run in Salem, N.H. is arrested on 113 E. Broadway St. Apt. 2 and charged with simple assault. Lamb refused the services of bail commissioner and transported to Rockingham County House of Corrections.

FEBRUARY 26, 2013

7:15 a.m. Caller reporting her tires and rims were stolen overnight on 1 Brook Road at Salem Crossing 2.

11:19 a.m. Andrew M. Smith, 31, of 40 Tallant Road in Pelham, N.H. is arrested at the Hudson Police Department and charged with conduct after an accident and driving after revocation or suspension. Smith is in custody on Salem's warrant. Bail set at $5,000 cash.

12:15 p.m. Female reporting that there was a suspicious male that was described as being short with a bushy mustache and a comb over that took pictures of her residence on Green Acre Drive. When he was approached be her daughter, the male individual gave her the bird and drove away. Vehicle described as being a white pick up with unknown registration.

1:37 p.m. Kenneth S. Haybatian, 47, of 163 Cross St. in Methuen, Mass. is arrested at Lowe's on 541 S. Broadway St. and charged with simple assault on a police officer and resisting arrest or detention.

5:33 p.m. Elies Lorena Castellanos, 37, of 39 Knox St. in Lawrence, Mass. is arrested at BJ's Wholesale Club on 70 Cluff Road and charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.

Caller reporting that three hispanics spit on him.

FEBRUARY 27, 2013

4:44 p.m. Rosilma Enriqueta Rosario, 18, of 8 Reservoir Terrace in Lawrence, Mass. is arrested at Kohl's on 92 Cluff Crossing Road and charged with willful concealment – theft. Rosario released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail.

11:55 p.m. Ex-wife reporting from 99 Cluff Crossing Road that her husband has a shotgun to his head and is going to kill himself. Officers reporting subject will be a voluntary transport. Officers will be walking him out to meet with Salem Fire. Weapon has been secured.

Subject was transported to Parkland Hospital by Salem Fire.

FEBRUARY 28, 2013

12:11 a.m. [Name Removed], 17, of Salem, N.H. is arrested on 14 Silver Brook Road and charged with unlawful possession of alcohol.

[Name Removed] reported to be highly intoxicated and vomiting. She is conscious and breathing. Salem Fire is responding. She transported to Holy Family.
