New Hampshire, Massachusetts Wrestlers Compete In 2023 Salem Blue Devil Classic Tournament

SALEM, NH — New Hampshire and Massachusetts wrestlers competed in around 400 matches on Saturday as part of the annual Salem Blue Devil Classic wrestling tournament.

Salem High School hosted the event, as it has for decades. Fifteen teams participated in the matches.

• 113: 1st Place: Dante Graziano of Shawsheen; Ethan Caceres Shawsheen came in 2nd; 3rd was Shane Breen of Billerica; Trey Wiley of Spaulding was 4th; Dominic Murphy of Salem was 5th; and Lucas Sanchez of Blue Devils was 6th.
• 120: Peter Rincan of Billerica was 1st; 2nd: Emmett Logan of Lowell; Brody McDonald of Salem was 3rd; 4th was Adler Moura of Bow; Dante Giusti of Shawsheen was 5th; Noah Jackson of Spaulding was 6th.
• 126: 1st: Spencer Buscema of Salem; Brodie Reeves of Goffstown was 2nd; Griffin Norwalt of Concord was 3rd; Aiden Pimentel of Shawsheen was 4th; 5th was hadi Sabay of Shawsheen; and 6th was Liam McGrail of Windham.
• 132: Brayton Carbone of Shawsheen was 1st; Nate Pass of Bedford was 2nd; 3rd was Camden Arbogast of Pinkerton Academy; Evan Lynch of Salem was 4th; Hunter Richard of Concord was 5th; and 6th was Christopher Dubey of Lowell.
• 138: 1st Place: Sidney Tildsley of Shawsheen; Kiaben Kennedy of Bedford was 2nd; 3rd was Caleb O’Rourke of Salem; Joshua Lister of North Andover was 4th; Lance Bordeleau of Pinkerton Academy came in 5th; and Jayden Deal of Spaulding was 6th.
• 144: 1st: James Tildsley of Shawsheen; 2nd was Elias Kalat of Spaulding; Talen Walton of Salem was 3rd; 4th was Cole Colon of Spaulding; Anthony Sconza of Pinkerton Academy was 5th; 6th was Jaxon Carter of Concord.
• 150: 1st Place: Hussein Alobaidi of Lowell; 2nd was Kyle Rhoton of North Andover; Dylan Suliveras of Windham was 3rd; Robert Perez of Nashua South was 4th while Caleb Caceres of Shawsheen was 5th. Logan Holmes of Shawsheen was 6th.
• 157: Dylan Roy of Windham was 1st; Josiah Funches of Bow was 2nd; 3rd was Moustafa Alsaied of Lowell; Riley Allan of Goffstown was 4th; Evan Landry of Pinkerton Academy was 5th; and Nathan Malandain of Shawsheen came in 6th.
• 165: 1st Place: Teghan McConnell of Bedford; 2nd was Brody Demers of Goffstown; Jizaiah Candelario of Billerica was 3rd; 4th was Connor Whitman of Nashua South; 5th was Nels DeAlmeida of Pinkerton Academy; and 6th was Carter Charest of Goffstown.
• 175: 1st: Sawyer Goodwin of Spaulding; 2nd place went to Brandon Robinson of Billerica; Joseph McDowell of Bow was 3rd; Landon MacKiernan of Pinkerton Academy; Jackson Morgan of Spaulding was 5th; while 6th went to Tucker Watson of Bedford.
• 190: 1st Place: Max Laperle of Spaulding; Liam Shambo of Windham was 2nd; 3rd went to Austin Malandain of Shawsheen; Chase Flagg of Bow was 4th; Isaiah Puckett of Concord was 5th; and Jack Hart of North Andover was 6th.
• 215: James Caruso of Pinkerton Academy came in 1st; Evan Couture of Spaulding was 2nd; 3rd went to Gabriel Spanks of North Andover; Antonio Hebert of Goffstown was 4th; 5th went to Jason Scharff of Windham; while 6th was Tyler Pavidis of Salem.
• 285: 1st Place: Jake Benn of Bedford; 2nd went to Wayne Gutierrez-Sakakeeny of Concord; Wesley Chesser of Spaulding was 3rd; Ian McCubrey of Nashua South was 4th; and Phillip Maurice of Spaulding was 6th.
