Plea Deal Reached for Man Who Injured Deputy Sheriff

The Union Leader reported late last week that a plea agreement has been reached for a former Salem man who kicked a door into the right hand of a deputy sheriff during a fight last year.
According to the paper, Jeremy Stockton, 31, now of Manchester pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of simple assault and resisting arrest.
Stockton will serve a deferred, one-year jail term that will be suspended if he remains on good behavior for the next 12 months.
