Police Bag Salem Teen Twice in 38 Hours

A Salem teenager summonsed on July 3 for banging on a woman's window just before sunrise was the same resident bagged by police after fleeing the scene of an alleged robbery attempt in Windham 38 hours later.
Keith Beal, 19, of 88 Main St. was charged with disorderly conduct and loitering or prowling in the first incident, which took place on Townsend Avenue in Salem.
Beal was reportedly high on synthetic marijuana, known as "spice," at the time of the incident. He was transported and later released from Parkland Medical Center.
A second resident – Kyle Braciska, 19, was also charged in the incident.
Beal's second arrest took place just after 7:30 p.m. on July 4, after he and two other men fled the scene of a reported robbery attempt on 4 Range Road in Windham.
Beal was arrested along with another man – Jake Williams, 19, of 88 N. Main St. The two were charged with criminal liability for conduct of another.
The third man, who Windham Police say attempted the alleged robbery, jumped out of the Ford F-250 that was holding the three men. The man has yet to be identified by police.
According to Salem Deputy Police Chief Shawn Patten, Beal has a lengthy criminal history.
In 2011 he was arrested for disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of alcohol. In 2010, he was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
