Police Seek Witnesses in 'Serious' Motorcycle Crash
The cause of the crash, which occurred when a minivan struck a motorcycle, is still under investigation.

A Massachusetts woman suffered "severe lower leg injuries" Monday afternoon after a minivan struck a motorcycle on Route 111, and authorities are asking any and all witnesses to come forward about the collision.
Salem Police Sgt. Thomas Kench said Susan Dionne, 51, of Winchendon, Mass., was flown by medical helicopter from Lawrence General Hospital to a Boston-area hospital due to the severities of her injuries.
The crash occurred at about 3:54 p.m. Monday when a 2002 Pontiac minivan heading north on Ermer Road struck a 2007 a Harley-Davidson motorcycle heading west on Route 111, according to Kench.
David Beshara, 54, of Derry, was operating the minivan at the time, while Jay Treshinsky, 57, of Winchendon, Mass., was operating the motorcycle. Dionne was a passenger on the motorcycle, according to Kench.
Police are still investigating the crash.
"At this time it does not appear that excess speed was the cause of the crash and it is unknown if drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors to the crash," said Kench. "The Salem Police Technical Accident Reconstruction Team (TAR) responded to the scene and will be conducting the investigation."
Police also would like to speak with the unidentified operator of a black, full-size Chevrolet or Dodge pickup truck that made a U-turn at the intersection of Route 111 and Ermer Road "immediately before the crash," said Kench.
Any witnesses are asked to contact officer John O'Donnell at (603) 893-1911.
