Providence Hill Road Bridge to Close in July
A project will begin on July 1 and run until late August.

The Salem Engineering Department has announced a road closure on Providence Hill Road, scheduled to take place in July.
The closure will begin on July 1 at 8 a.m. and run until late August of 2013.
The reason for the closure is due to the reconstruction of the Providence Hill Road Bridge over Providence Hill Brook.

During the clsure, the road will be closed to thru traffic from Atkinson Road to Shannon Road.
Motorists are encouraged by the town to seek alternate routes around the construction zone and to be aware of the detour signage put in place for the project.

Truck traffic is also being advised of the 10-ton weight limit posting on the Shannon Road bridge, located north of the Providence Hill Road bridge project.
Truck detour routes will be posted to direct trucks around both the road closure and the 10-ton weight limit posting.
