Salem 12U Little League Team Raising Thousands To Go To Regionals

The team won the state championship and will now compete for the third time in Bristol, Connecticut.

SALEM, NH — The Salem 12U District team, New Hampshire Little League Baseball State Champions again, is heading to Bristol, Connecticut, to compete regionally.

It will be the team’s third trip to regionals.

To offset expenses, a GoFundMe.com effort has been set up for the team.

“We are asking for any donation that you are able, to help the players and their families with this travel,” Rose Griffin, the fundraiser organizer, wrote. “This team has gone 11 and 1, and we are hoping to bring the regional trophy back to Salem and head to Williamsport. Any help for this amazing group of athletes would be much appreciated.”

A goal of $3,500 has been set, and as of Tuesday morning, $2,805 has been raised, according to the site.
