Salem Chamber Honors Business Pillar Award Winners

Technology Experts Headlined the Sixth Annual Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Breakfast and Business Pillar Awards.

There were a record number of attendees at the 2014 Economic Development event entitled “Modern Economy.” Speakers included Carol Miller, Director of Broadband Technologies, NH Department of Resources & Economic Development; Kyle Scofield, IT Manager, Technology Seed; Jonah Berman, Sr. Account Manager, Google; and Steve Perlberg, Manager M2M-Partner Programs, Verizon Wireless. 

The presenters addressed the needs of small and mid-sized businesses and discussed innovations available to help companies flourish in an ever-changing world.

During the event, the Chamber honored the four Business Pillar Award winners:

Tuscan Brands, New Business; Palmer Gas/Ermer Oil, Large Business; Salem Family Resources/Success by 6, Nonprofit Business; and Santo Insurance & Financial Services, Small Business. The awards recognize the companies for their outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the community at large.
