A transportation seminar this Thursday will feature appearances from a few political leaders in the state, including Department of Transportation Commissioner Christopher Clement. Also headlining the public event will be state Sen. Jim Rausch (R-Derry) and Mark Brewer, airport director for Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. The seminar will be co-sponsored by the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce. The meeting will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Brookstone Event Center at 16 Route 111 in Derry. Rausch, who serves as chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee, also represents Windham and Hampstead as part of District 19. Those who wish to attend can RSVP to the Salem Chamber at 603-432-8205 or the Londonderry/Derry Chamber at 603-893-3177. Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non-members. A continental breakfast will also be served.
