Salem High Principal is Safe, Describes Scene at Marathon
The Union Leader reported the news on Tuesday.

Salem High School Principal Tracy Collyer told the Union Leader Tuesday that the scene at the Boston Marathon was "creepy and surreal" in the aftermath of two explosions at the finish line.
Collyer, 45, was running in the marathon to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Despite the incident, Collyer told the paper that she plans on running again next year.
Along with Collyer, Salem Patch has accounted for all but one resident who was running the Boston Marathon on Monday.

As of 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, we have yet to receive word about Timothy Gilday, 58, who according to race results never got a chance to finish the race.
Nine other runners from Salem either finished or were reported as safe.

The two explosions killed three people and injured 176 more.
