Salem High School Math Team Finishes Second
Also, the Board of Selectmen will meet tonight.

1. TODAY'S FORECAST: Expect thundershowers by day today with a high of 77. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 51.
2. MATH TEAM NETS SECOND PLACE FINISH: The Salem High School Math Team earned second place at the N.H. State Meet. Neal Foley and Jon Shum were recognized for the top scorers at the meet. Salem High also won second place in the N.H. Smash League 2012-2013.
3. BOARD OF SELECTMEN MEET: Among the agenda items for tonight are updates on Interstate 93 and from the town's fire department. Also expected is a discussion on 2014 budget goals. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1940, the German air force bombs Paris, killing 254 people, most of them civilians.
5. SHS SOFTBALL REACHES THE SEMIFINALS: Salem High's softball squad is still standing in the NHIAA Division I State Tournament. They have a semifinals date with no. 1 seed Concord on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The game will take place at Southern New Hampshire University.
