Salem Hires Goodwin as Assistant Town Manager
The former attorney will oversee Salem's Planning, Zoning, Health, Inspections, Recreation, Community Development and Human Services departments.

Former Keene Assistant City Attorney Leon Goodwin III will become Salem's first assistant town manager and community affairs director on Tuesday after being chosen from a pool of roughly 40 applicants, according to the Eagle-Tribune.
"I’m very excited to come over there," Goodwin, 31, reportedly told the Eagle-Tribune, which has reported the Fitzwilliam resident will make $94,000 a year in his new position. "There are a million opportunities in Salem, from the redevelopment of Rockingham Park to revitalization of the downtown area."
