Man Accused of Making Child Porn

The Salem man was charged earlier this month in connection with allegedly taking the teen across state lines against her father's wishes.

Salem police have arrested a local man on a charge he manufactured child pornography with a 14-year-old girl from Massachusetts.

Police said Kevin Rodwell, 28, of Salem, was arraigned April 29 in the 10th Circuit Court in Salem on one count of manufacturing a child sexual abuse image, according to the Salem Police Department.

Police are accusing him of using a cellular phone to take nine pornographic photos of the girl. Judge John A. Korbey ordered him held on $200,000 cash-only bail as requested by Salem Prosecuting Attorney Jason B. Grosky and Rodwell's pubic defender, Eliana Forciniti.
