Salem Man Charged with Assaulting Police Officer

Friday, Dec. 13

• 9:47 a.m.: John E. Hilliard Jr., 40, of 98 Summer St., Brockton, MA was arrested on a warrant and charged with receiving stolen property. He refused bail and was transported to the Rockingham County House of Corrections.
• 12:06 p.m.: An accident was reported on Rockingham Park Boulevard.
• 12:22 p.m.: A hit-and-run accident was reported on South Broadway.
• 1:41 p.m.: An accident was reported on South Broadway.
• 4:02 p.m.: An accident was reported on Mall Road.
• 4:13 p.m.: Ashley Rodriguez, 19, of 272 East Haverhill St., Apt. #18, Lawrence, MA was charged with willful concealment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor following an alleged shoplifting incident at JC Penney on Rockingham Park Boulevard. A 16-year-old juvenile was also charged with willful concealment.

• 5:25 p.m.: An accident was reported on South Broadway.
• 5:42 p.m.: An accident was reported on Mall Road.
• 6:26 p.m.: Luis Tejada, 50, of 112 Marston St., Apt. #102, Lawrence, MA was charged with willful concealment following an alleged shoplifting incident at Abercrombie & Fitch on Mall Road.
• 6:36 p.m.: An accident was reported on South Broadway.
• 6:49 p.m.: An accident was reported on South Broadway.
• 7:51 p.m.: An accident was reported on Pleasant Street at Mall Road.
• 8:47 p.m: A car vs. deer accident was reported on Don Roulston Drive.
• 8:54 p.m.: An accident was reported on South Broadway.
• 9 p.m.: A hit-and-run was reported on South Broadway.
• 9:37 p.m.: An accident was reported on South Broadway.
• 11:55 p.m.: Casey R. Doyle, 27, of 9 Lancelot Court, Apt. #16, Salem was charged with disorderly conduct and assault on a police officer. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail.
