Salem Man Charged with Drug Possession, Lying to Police
Arrests were also reported for shoplifting and drunken driving.

Saturday, Dec. 14
- 12:52 a.m.: Brandon Patrick McQuaid, 24, of 101 Main St., Apt. #5, Salem was charged with simple assault and taken into protective custody. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail.
- 1:12 a.m.: Police received a report of a burglary at Laptop Universe on North Broadway.
- 8:54 a.m.: A caller LL&S Wood Products on Lowell Road reported a theft of services.
- 8:54 a.m.: An accident was reported on South Broadway.
- 10:07 a.m.: An accident was reported on South Broadway.
- 11:27 a.m.: An accident was reported on Cluff Crossing Road.
- 1:59 p.m.: An accident was reported on Veterans Memorial Parkway.
- 2:40 p.m.: A hit-and-run accident was reported on South Broadway.
- 4:50 p.m.: Michael Christopher Buono, 23, of 5 Minton Road, Billerica, MA and Mia Victoria Curtatone, 19, of 120 11th St., Apt. #306, Lowell, MA were each charged with willful concealment following a shoplifting incident at Sears on Rockingham Park Boulevard. They were both released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail.
- 5:28 p.m.: Timothy G. Emerson, 28, of 25 Pleasant St., Apt. B, Salem was charged with false report to law enforcement, possession of a controlled drug and breach of bail. He refused the services of the bail commissioner and was transported to jail.
- 6:01 p.m.: An accident was reported on Rockingham Park Boulevard.
- 7:48 p.m.: An accident was reported on South Broadway.
- 9:16 p.m.: An accident was reported on Mall Road.
Sunday, Dec. 15
- 2:32 p.m.: An accident was reported on North Main Street.
- 4:35 p.m.: An accident with injuries was reported on South Broadway.
- 5:16 p.m.: An accident was reported on Lowell Road.
- 9:43 p.m.: Curtis Ivan Davis III, 48, of 1 Eysssi Drive, Salem was charged with driving under the influence. He was released on a court summons.
