A Salem man was shot from behind by Lawrence, Mass. police in Lawrence early Saturday morning at a local party, according to police. The man, <a href="http://www.unionleader.com/article/20130615/NEWS03/130619435/0/SEARCH" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">identified by the Union Leader as Alexander Castro</a>, 20, drove toward officers and collided with a cruiser, prompting an officer to fire a round which struck him in the buttocks. According to Lawrence Police Chief John Romero, an officer initially responded to the scene for a loud party. Castro was later arrested shortly after 5 a.m. on Lancelot Court in Salem.
