Salem Police Citizen Academy Starting Soon
The ninth annual Salem police citizen academy starts in September.

SALEM, NH — Applications are now being accepted for the Salem Police Department's citizen academy this year. The ninth annual program of classes will be held Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. September 11 through November 20. One Saturday class is also scheduled.
"If you are interested in learning about law enforcement and getting an inside look at the SalemPolice Department, then this class is for you," Salem police said in a statement.
The program is funded by the Salem Exchange Club. The academy is open to Salem residents over the age of 18 and Salem business owners.
