Salem Police: Heroin, Crack, Gun Seized; Woman Arrested
Salem police said Jessica Cain was arrested while driving on Interstate 93 with drugs and a gun in her vehicle.

SALEM, NH — Salem police on Sunday said they arrested a woman driving on Interstate 93 with heroin, crack cocaine and a loaded 9mm handgun in her vehicle. Jessica Cain (pictured), 34, of Manchester, was charged with a host of crimes.
Salem police said an officer pulled over Cain because she was driving erratically.
"(The officer) learned the female had ash blown into her eyes and she was having trouble seeing the road," Salem police Captain Joel Dolan said in a statement.

A search of the vehicle turned up heroin, crack cocaine, Suboxone, Subutex, Buprenorphine and the handgun, Dolan said. Cain was charged with multiple counts of drug possession, transporting drugs in a vehicle and breach of bail. At the time of her arrest, she was out on bond after she was charged with selling drugs in Merrimack, police said. She was held n $2,500 bail pending an arraignment in Rockingham County Superior Court Monday.
