SALEM, NH — Salem police arrested a sex offender and charged an 11-year-old with criminal threatening in separate incidents over the New Year's holiday this week. These arrests and more were included in the latest Salem police log. Individuals mentioned and accused of crimes and presumed innocent.

Mon., Dec. 31

  • 12:48 a.m. Caller reports loud music on Cluff Crossing Road. Resident agrees to turn the music down.
  • 7:30 a.m. Caller says his vehicle was been broken into two nights in a row on Central Street.
  • 11:16 a.m. Erika McNally, 27, of Methuen, Mass., was arrested on a warrant and charged with disobeying a police officer and driving after suspension.
  • 11:27 a.m. Caller reports a the driver of a gray Volkswagen tailgated the caller's vehicle and made obscene gestures on Interstate 93.
  • 4:54 p.m. Caller says her neighbor's septic system is running into the street on Shore Drive.

  • 3:35 a.m. Vehicle crashed into median on Interstate 93.
  • 8:34 a.m. A 19-year-old from Salem was arrested on a warrant.
  • 8:51 a.m. An 11-year-old was arrested and charged with criminal threatening.
  • 12:26 a.m. Michael Maynard, 25, of Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with failure to comply with his sex offender registration.
