Salem Supervisors Of The Checklist To Meet March 1

New voters can register before the March 11 town election. Specific documentation is required.

The Supervisors of the Checklist of Salem will be in Session between 9 and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, on the lower level of the Municipal Office Building to register new voters for the upcoming town election.

SALEM, NH — The Supervisors of the Checklist of Salem will be in Session between 9 and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, on the lower level of the Municipal Office Building to register new voters for the upcoming town election.

Registered voters may also make changes or corrections to their existing data or switch their party affiliations at this session. This will be the last opportunity for a resident of Salem to register to vote if he/she wants their name to appear on the checklist that will be used for the town election on Tuesday, March 11. Prospective new voters must be 18 years of age and present a picture ID such as a driver’s license, proof of domicile, and proof of citizenship. A driver’s license is acceptable for the picture ID and domicile. A birth certificate or United States passport will work as proof of citizenship. Naturalized citizens must show documented citizenship papers and a United States passport.

Residents may also register to vote with the town clerk at any time during regular office hours through Friday, Feb. 28, 2025.

Copies of the current voter checklist are available to view at the Kelley Library reference desk and the town clerk’s office.
