The names of three deceased Salem firefighters will be added to the memorial this year, according to Paul J. Parisi, Chief of Operations for Salem Fire Rescue. The three firefighters are: <ul><li>Firefighter Arthur Cook</li><li>Firefighter Alcide "Fast Al" Demers</li><li>Capt. Stephen J. McKenna, </li></ul>Parisi, on behalf of the Salem Firefighters Relief Association, announced that the 2014 annual memorial breakfast will be Sunday, June 8, at 9 a.m. at Salem Fire Headquarters. A ceremony at Pine Grove Cemetery is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., and a breakfast is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. at Fire Headquarters. For those interested in attending the breakfast, Parisi asks that an RSVP be made at (603) 890-2200.
