A Massachusetts sex offender charged with a lewd act involving a young girl at the Salem Walmart has been found guilty in a separate-but-similar case involving the Plaistow Walmart.
Ronald Beausoleil, 34, of Haverhill, Mass., was convicted by a Rockingham Superior Court jury Thursday on aggravated felonious sexual assault, accomplice to theft by unauthorized taking and driving after revocation after he sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl in the Plaistow Walmart toy aisle on March 10, according to the Union Leader.
The Union Leader has reported that jurors deliberated for about 1 1/2 hours before coming back with a verdict for Beausoleil, whom the paper reported was "helping his girlfriend steal items from the store" on March 10 when he "searched for a girl to assault after his girlfriend left the store."
Beausoleil, a Level 3 sex offender, is slated for trial in the Salem Walmart case in January.
The man allegedly exposed himself to an an eight-year-old girl at the Salem Walmart on Sept. 19, 2011. Beausoleil was linked to the Salem incident after he was charged with the Plaistow offense.
