Salem Woman Convicted for Prostitution Charged Again in Massachusetts

A Salem woman convicted on prostitution charges in May 2011 has again been arrested for prostitution, according to the Eagle Tribune.
According to the paper, Lori Barron, 50, of 20 Riversedge Drive was charged yesterday with running a house of prostitution and videotaping her clients engaging in sexual acts at her Lawrence, Mass. massage parlor called "Day Spa for Gentlemen."
Barron was arraigned in Lawrence District Court on six charges including maintaining a house of prostitution, deriving support from prostitution, unlawful wiretapping, extortion and photographing unsuspecting nude persons.

Two years ago, Barron was the owner of ETEA Weight Loss Spa on 282 Main St.
Court complaints stated she was originally charged with two counts of prostitution on May 13, 2011. The complaints alleged the activity took place during January and February of that year.

Barron struck a plea deal to stay out of jail at that time.
Also arrested and charged with two counts of prostitution in 2011 was Susan Choi, 39, of Manchester, an employee of Barron's.
