Salem's Supervisors Of The Checklist Meet On Jan. 21

Residents of Salem may register to vote or change their existing data, including party affiliation, at this session.

SALEM, NH — The Supervisors of the Checklist of Salem will be in Session from 7 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, on the lower level of the Municipal Office Building.

Residents of Salem may register to vote or make changes to their existing data at this session. Change of party affiliation is allowed. Prospective new voters must be 18 years of age and present a picture ID, such as a driver’s license, proof of domicile, and proof of citizenship. A driver’s license is acceptable for the picture ID and domicile.

A birth certificate or United States passport will work as proof of citizenship. Naturalized citizens must also show documented citizenship papers or a United States passport and proof of domicile.

The Town Deliberative Session will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Salem High School Auditorium. Residents must be registered voters to participate in this meeting.

The Town Clerk’s office will also accept registrations during regular office hours up to 10 days before the scheduled meeting. Copies of the voter checklist are available for residents to view at the Town Hall Office and the Kelley Library.
