Second Republican Enters NH Senate Race

A second Republican has entered the race for U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen's seat.

Karen Testerman, a conservative activist from Franklin, told the Hillthat she officially filed papers to run on Friday. She told the congressional newspaper that she thinks Shaheen (D-NH) is "vulnerable." If elected, Testerman said she will fight to keep the government from interfering in the lives of everyday Americans.

Testerman is the second GOP candidate for the seat. Former State Sen. Jim Rubens announced last month that he would run against Shaheen.
