Selectman Candidate has Second Thoughts
The Union Leader reported the news on Friday.

Salem Selectman candidate Stephen Kelly no longer wants to serve on the board, according to a report from the Union Leader.
Kelly, who recently filed to run againt incumbent Pat Hargreaves, can't remove his name from the ballot. According to the report, Kelly decided after attending a few board meetings that the position wasn't what he had in mind.
Should he win the seat in March, Kelly would have to decline the position, in which case the other board members would likely appoint Hargreaves.
