The Planning Board held three public hearings for the Tim Oriole site plan, located at 67-73 and 77 Pond Street, since January.
Some abutters had questioned the size of the development, potential traffic, and, as one resident noted, the fact that the parcel was one of the remaining good spots to hunt in Salem.
A traffic analysis conducted as part of the site plan projected a maximum number of daily trips at 170, according to board minutes. The study projected 20 trips per hour at peak weekday traffic hour.
Several historic items on the property from the Searles Estate are being saved and incorporated into the new use, according to the developers.
