UPDATE (9:00 p.m.): According to a Tweet from Salem Police, a fatality occured earlier tonight in a traffic accident that took place on Interstate 93 southbound.
Police did not identify the victim or the cause of the crash in the message, but did say that significant traffic delays were taking place and that they were on the scene along with Salem Fire and New Hampshire State Police.
WMUR is reporting that witnesses saw a male driver hit the center guard rail at high speed before his car flipped.
