Snow and Wind Expected to Continue in Salem

The town braces for a second day of inclement weather.

Snow, heavy wind and temperatures near the teens are expected throughout the day in Salem, according to the forecast provided by The Weather Channel.

The wind is expected to whip around town throughout the day which will make the temperatures feel like they are close to below zero.

The ongoing precipitation is not expected to lighten up until after 11 a.m. when the forecast has been downgraded to light snow. Blizzard conditions will persist until that time.

Snow showers will continue into the afternoon and will not die down until just before 9 p.m.

A blizzard warning is currently in effect until 4 p.m.
