Suspended County Attorney Won't Seek Re-election

Suspended Rockingham County Attorney James Reams told WMUR-TV he won't seek re-election this year.
Attorney General Joseph Foster and U.S. Attorney John Kacavas announced in November that Reams and Deputy County Attorney Tom Reid had been suspended pending a probe into the management and operations of the county attorney's office.
Reams has maintained his innocence, but said he didn't want the ongoing investigation to overshadow the election. Salem Police Prosecutor Jason Grosky (R-Atkinson) has already announced his candidacy for the county attorney's office.
