Suspicious Vehicle Follows 10-Year-Old Home From Fisk School

The incident was reported on Wednesday.

Salem Police received a report yesterday that a suspicious vehicle followed a 10-year-old student home from Fisk Elementary School.

According to the report, the driver of the was described as a man in his 30's. The vehicle was described as a blue vehicle with hood scoops and possibly a white and black New Hampshire temporary plate.

An unknown male driver of a green minivan approached the student asking him if he knew the man in the blue vehicle. When the student said no, the driver told him to go home and tell his parents.

The minivan driver said that the vehicle has been seen in the area before talking with children.

The case has been assigned to the Salem Police Department Detective Unit. The Salem Police will be increasing patrols of all of the elementary schools.
