Independence Day is fast approaching in Salem, and with it the annual fireworks celebration. According to Recreation Director Chris Dillon, the annual show will go off on July 4 at 9:30 p.m. at Salem High School. Food concessions and "minute to win it" activities will begin at 5 p.m. Fire safety trailer tours and music will begin at 6 p.m. The town has also scheduled a rain date of July 5.
